Many People One Community

Artist: Kate Millington

Location: 531 Great North Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckalnd

Description: This mosaic is an ongoing work. Sited on a very long and prominent wall depicting African, Asian, Indian , Pacific and generic New Zealand images the mural is designed specifically for children. Further work is currently being undertaken to add another 5 arches and the tile plus a solid band of colour running through the background thanks to a generous cash donation by the buildings owner Michael Friedlander. This work should be completed by 2006.
